This short vídeo tells about how the founder of the Transcendental Meditation Movement His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi had fathered children. He was no celibate monk as many claimed he was. One close associate of the founder claimed Maharishi’s passport contained a line about his occupation in which it was written “Bal Brahmachari” meaning monk.
His children were placed with foster parents who raised them. This allowed the founder the time to operate his TM empire which produced billions of dollars of revenue over many years. In the meantime, the founder recommended celibacy to many of his closest followers, who became known as Purusha (men) and Mother Divine (women). In the early days, there was an “M” group for men, perhaps it meant Maharishi. There was also the “108” group which were men and women – great devotees who worked closely with the founder and often took management positions. These were the monks and nuns and great devotees of the early days of the TM Movement, which then evolved into the Purusha and Mother Divine organizations, still operating today.
There were also celibate – married – couples who were so devoted to Maharishi that they took his general advice on celibacy.
Unknown to most of them in those days, except perhaps a few leaders of the TM Movement, Maharishi had sexual affairs with at least 16 women and counting over the years.
There Is no information about his children receiving any inheritance when the founder passed away in 2008.
