Our Hungarian media partner, the editors of the tm.meditacio.hu blog, have republished the RajaLeaks article titled “How to Understand the raja kingdom – part 4: the raja oath dissected”. The Hungarian authors made an interesting remark regarding our article, mentioning, among other things, the Sai Baba movement, which has been embroiled in scandals, and with whom Maharaja Dr. Tony Nader has recently been collaborating. Below, we share the thoughts of our Hungarian colleagues, as well as a short film they made, which discusses the presence of Hindutva extremist nationalists in the TM movement. As per our collaboration, we will soon produce an English version of this film.
The neo-Hindu rajas leading the TM movement are unable to create the 10,000-strong Yogic Flying group they have been promising for decades through their own efforts. The 2024 World Peace Assembly in Hyderabad also failed (allegedly 12,000 people attended) in achieving the intended effect. According to 42 scientific studies on the Maharishi Effect, a spectacular global peace effect should have been created, similar to the 8,300-person 1983 MIU World Peace Assembly, which was attended by the writer of these lines and his father, the late János Szász Sr.
How can we talk about world peace now, when NATO and Russia are on the brink of nuclear war? In recent months, the specter of World War III has loomed in the Ukraine-Russia, Middle East, and USA-China relations. And the United States and Canada are heading toward disintegration due to a lack of coherence. During the Indian World Peace Assembly, international tensions noticeably increased, something we will recount supported by various news reports later on.
A moral low point of the Maharaja-led TM movement was the scene where Tony the Great King bowed before the leader of the paramilitary extremist nationalist organization, RSS, in front of the picture of the Holy Tradition, addressing him as “Bhagavan,” in other words the Supreme, by Dr. Tony Nader. How can this be reconciled with the Holy Tradition, the legacy of Adi Shankara and Guru Dev, and the purity of the teachings, when this Hindu mob, who welcomed Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin into their ranks, committed hundreds of ethnic murders, marches like Nazis, wields swords in the streets and shouts “Jai Shri Ram”?
Maharaja Dr. Tony Nader, who maintains good relations with offshore companies, has now reached the point where he is allying with the controversial Sai Baba movement to create a 10,000-strong group. The Independent reported that Chetana Raju, a relative of the late guru, received death threats over the inheritance of Sai’s wealth, equivalent to 5 billion forints, and that after Sai Baba’s death, 98 kg of gold, 307 kg of silver, and 115 million rupees were found hidden in the room of the guru, who performed cheap magic tricks. It’s not hard to guess that Sai Baba didn’t like paying taxes either. Former disciples reported his sexual abuse. Swedish Conny Larsson, who was Maharishi’s deerskin bearer, and American Tal Brooke each wrote books about him (“Behind the Mask of the Clown” and “Lord of the Air”), detailing Sai Baba’s sexual misconduct behind the scenes. Jens Sethi, a former disciple of Sai Baba, filed a sexual abuse complaint against him with the Munich police when he returned to Germany. Sai Baba also “materialized” miniature phalluses, which he then gave to young followers before receiving them for a “private audience.” It’s hard to believe that Dr. Tony Nader is unaware of these scandals.
Where has the Maharishi Effect gone? Why are there no events similar to the 1983 MIU World Peace Assembly—free from distinguished guests promoting Hindutva superiority and movements of perverse, deceitful gurus? Why is there no permanent—at least 2,000-person—Siddhi group in the MIU dome? Where have the 62,000 Indian pandits gone? Why were the trained Brahmin caste priests humiliated, kept on starvation wages, and driven away?
Looking at what’s happening now in the USA, particularly that Americans are aggressively providing financial and military support, it seems that the rajas did not understand the old CORE COURSE ON INVINCIBILITY TM course, which was seen by all TM teachers and meditators in the MIU community. The course was taught by physicists and Maharishi, emphasizing the scientific explanation of the orderliness that can be created in collective consciousness.
The rajas—led by the Maharaja—have strayed from the original teachings and philosophy. Beyond turning the org that was originally religion-free and politics-free into a cult with their neo-Hindu religious practices and political goals, their recent “alliances” are harming the reputation and credibility of TM. Using TM doctrinal language, one might ask: perhaps the presence of the RSS terrorist organization, the involvement of the Sai Baba movement, was not pleasing to the laws of nature or the Holy Tradition, or maybe the offshore companies are not sattvic, pure, and that is why the expected world peace effect did not materialize?
We trust that the investigative work of our blog will open the eyes of TM teachers belonging to the Global Country of World Peace, and the time will come when they too will protest against this wrong path and express their desire for the “old” TM movement, free from neo-Hindu kings and offshore companies.
