A leading TM teacher, former French representative of the David Lynch Foundation, shares a personal and ironic tale of betrayal within the Transcendental Meditation Organization (TMO). From baseless accusations to underhanded tactics, his story reveals a saga of conflict, silence, and persistence that continues to this day.

In the Facebook post is a personal reflection on a past conflict involving the TMO (Transcendental Meditation Organization) leadership in Russia. He describes how, five years ago, they discovered the misconduct of the TMO leadership, leading to a vicious attack against them. One of the primary antagonists, Nadejda Konakova, is depicted as particularly vindictive. She spread malicious rumors, insulted the narrator, and criticized their yagya program while accusing them of various severe transgressions, including espionage and having “psychic and evil powers.”

He reveals that they inadvertently received an email from Nadejda, which contained all of these false accusations, intended for other TMO members. This accidental revelation of her plans led to a mixture of surprise and amusement on this part. They forwarded the email to several prominent figures within the TMO, but received no response, reinforcing their sense of abandonment and the sectarian silence that followed.

As time passed, TMO-related activities in Russia ceased, but now Nadejda and her associates are attempting to re-enter his programs, albeit through indirect means like false apologies and using proxies to infiltrate Facebook groups. He emphasizes that despite these attempts, no real apology has been offered. Instead, they receive requests to “help” simply because the individuals involved are TMO teachers, which he finds insincere and manipulative.

He expresses clear frustration, stating that they have no room for forgiveness for these individuals and that they should leave the TMO if they wish to join their programs. He and his wife became so fed up with the madness of the Konhaus rajas that they founded their own meditation organization in Russia – the Russian Meditation Organization, which, similar to the British Meditation Trust, teaches the meditation known as TM much more affordably than the offshore rajas’ organization. His stories take place in the recent past when they were trying to fix the fractured Russian TM movement.
